I bought this stroller for my 50 lb lab mix with arthritis. She is still getting used to climbing in and out of it, but seems comfortable once settled inside it. I added a thin pad to the fabric piece that the stroller comes with. I like that she can be out with us, despite arthritic hips that doesn’t allow her to keep up with us when she’s on a leash.

The style of this stroller is relatively easy for dogs with mobility issues to get in and out of with the zip screen in front. She also liked sticking her head out the top to look at me. The 2 pockets at the back are handy though they could be bigger. There is a webbing loop that hangs down above the pockets which is good for hanging the leash up – i use one of the extenda-leashes with a carabiner on the handle so it clips into the loop. Its easy to put together and though I didn’t collapse it when putting it in the back of the car – its lightweight and loads well in the back of an SUV with a medium to large cargo space

However for the person pushing the stroller there are issues – I would not recommend a dog/pet over 50 lbs. I don’t think this particular stroller is sturdy enough for a larger animal. If the dog is sitting to one side or the other it throws off the balance. It will tip over on non-paved surfaces and on paved surfaces where its seems to work best, it kept steering to the side the dog was leaning on. So that issue may resolve itself if you can get your dog in the center of the stroller. The other major issue is the handle bar. Though its comfortably padded with foam, its too short for anyone over 5’6″ pushing it. When I walked fast, my foot would hit the rear axle. I will have to have a metal-worker friend either form a new handle or weld on extensions somehow to make the handle longer.
